What IS bittermelon, anyway? Amy Moniot reviews The Nipa Hut.

When was the last time you tasted something completely new?  I LOVE food. I eat a lot. I search for things my mother wouldn’t recognize as food. But I have to say that it’s been a long time since I ate something and my brain couldn’t find anything to connect it to. At the Nipa Hut, the only sit-down Filipino …

So much more than ESL at Service Saturday

One of the most rewarding parts of Service Saturday is finding a way to help someone get access to services they need. This will give them access to computers in the library that they can then use to apply for jobs online. Demonstrating that they are actively…

Thanks for the welcome, Amy. Yes it would be great to connect with some fellow RPCVs in the area. And, yes, it seems like most out-of-work connections these days have to do with our son! We are in Cleveland Heights, so I'll take a look to see where some of the upcoming events are located. Take care.

Thanks Amy,

I don't think I can make it Saturday I have to work pretty much all day, but I would love to come to the next event to meet some folks. I just got back from Peace Corps Connect in Nashville and I would love to share that experience with folks.

Thanks, Amy!

I will try to make it to the next Service Saturday to meet you and all the other RPCVs in attendance. If I'm unable to, I'll keep my eyes open for the next event. Thanks for approving me and I look forward to meeting you!
