The Oberlin Shansi Memorial Association (“Shansi”) is seeking a dynamic and self-directed individual with a strong commitment to cross-cultural learning to serve as our new Assistant Director. The successful candidate will join a Shansi team collaborating with university and nongovernmental organization partners at Oberlin College and Conservatory and in China, India, Indonesia, and Japan to foster long-term mutually beneficial educational exchange programs. The Assistant Director will work on all aspects of Shansi’s programs, including program development and management, fundraising and outreach, and on-campus engagement at Oberlin College and Conservatory.
