Where did you serve and when did you serve in Peace Corps?
I am currently serving in Agoua, Benin, West Africa
What are your interests and how would you like to be involved with NORVA?
I would like to network with RPCVs in the Northern Ohio area (or any RPCV for that matter!) regarding employment opportunities for when I return (September 2013). I am interested in international development, food security issues, and the international tourism industry, and my hobbies include running, cycling, reading, and chasing chickens and goats off my porch at 6am!
What keeps you busy these days?
I'm a current PCV, so village life, various projects, and attempting to stay in touch with friends and family and have a social life keeps me pretty busy!
I'm currently trying to raise the necessary funds to build a school library at the local secondary school in my town. PLEASE check it out here and help out any way you can (including telling all your friends, family, and other RPCVs!)

If all else fails, go to www.peacecorps.gov, click on "donate to volunteer projects", and search for project number 680-240.
My local language tutor, who is also a teacher at the school, told me that he had a dream that the library was already built and when he woke up he was really sad! Just a somewhat funny reminder that this is really important to my village, and my community appreciates it more than you know. Thanks again so much for your help!
Kate, The link in your message is not working and will not allow me to make a donation for your project from NORVA. Please advise. Thanks, Bob Radl, Treasurer, NORVA
Hi Katharine, I just wanted to let you know that the NORVA board agreed to make a donation to your project! We look forward to hearing how the project goes, and good luck!
