Where did you serve and when did you serve in Peace Corps?: Panama, 2014-2016

What are your interests and how would you like to be involved with NORVA?: I am moving back to Cleveland in June and am looking for a community to connect with as soon as I arrive. I graduated from CWRU seven years ago, then served in the Peace Corps, then served in the Indian Health Service. I continue to support the Peace Corps mission, which is why I went to work for IHS. I also continue to love hearing Peace Corps stories and sharing about Panama. I would like to be part of a community of like-minded people when I return to Cleveland and find opportunities to do meaningful community work.

What keeps you busy these days?: I am an environmental engineer for the Indian Health Service living on the Hopi Reservation and working on water and sanitation projects. In my free time, I attend community events like traditional ceremonies and running races, and I love exploring all the backcountry hiking and camping that the Southwest has to offer. I will be taking an environmental engineering position when I move to Cleveland, and I am looking forward to re-exploring the athletic, outdoors, and volunteer opportunities that Cleveland has to offer.
