About Us
NORVA aims to fulfill Peace Corps’ Third Goal to help Americans better understand other peoples and other cultures by:
- Promoting global education through grants to students, educators, and community organizations in Northeast Ohio.
- Sharing our Peace Corps experiences at community events.
- Volunteering in our community in the same spirit of service that led us to the Peace Corps.
- Supporting Peace Corps volunteers from northeast Ohio currently serving in the field.
- Providing opportunities for local RPCVs to network and socialize.
Most of our members are returned Peace Corps Volunteers living in Northeast Ohio, but anyone with an interest in or connection to Peace Corps is welcome to join or participate in our events.
