Represent Peace Corps at the Akron Bicentennial Parade
This year Akron is celebrating its 200th Anniversary. There are many events planned including a large parade through the downtown area.
NORVA and the Peace Corps have been invited to participate in the parade on Saturday, July 5, at 10am. The parade website can be found here.
The parade could be a good marketing event to spread the word about Peace Corps and NORVA. Members and their families could walk wearing PC gear and/or costumes from the countries where they served. We would carry a banner and possibly some signs as well.
