Where did you serve and when did you serve in Peace Corps?: Western Samoa; 2015-2016

What are your interests and how would you like to be involved with NORVA?: My organization, AFS USA http://www.afsusa.org, is looking for families and individuals across the country to host foreign-exchange students participating in the Department of State YES Scholarship http://www.yesprograms.org/about/about-us.

This scholarship provides high school students from countries with significant Muslim populations the opportunity to spend up to one academic year in the United States. Students live with host families, attend high schools, engage in activities to learn about American society and values, acquire leadership skills, and help educate Americans about their countries and cultures.

We are looking for host families in Ohio and I think that the Peace Corps community shares a lot of values with this scholarship. I would love to connect with RPCVS in Ohio about hosting a student (many PCVs actually help students in their host communities apply to this scholarship)

What keeps you busy these days?: Work, cooking, reading, museums, exploring!
