Ben served as a preventive health volunteer in Southeast Senegal. He primarily worked on malaria prevention and treatment projects as a regional malaria coordinator for Peace Corps’ Stomping Out Malaria in Africa initiative, as well as hygiene and sanitation infrastructure projects.

Ben likes the supportive community and energetic members of NORVA. Ben visualizes NORVA providing a platform for RPCVs to explore local leadership experiences; he visualizes NORVA helping RPCVs to define and realize their visions for Northeast Ohio.  

Ben currently lives in Ohio City. He is a new products manager with Plastic Safety Systems, a manufacturer temporary traffic control equipment.
