Nine NORVA members joined together to eat a delicious meal prepared at Kafaya's Kitchen (3650 W 117th St) in Cleveland. This is a wonderful spot to grab authentic Somali food from Kafaya and her friends. It's also quite popular as several patrons came in while we were there to grab to go orders or enjoy large platters of food in the limited seating restaurant. The dishes we enjoyed featured goat, chicken and fish served with rice, chapati and pasta along with a side of vegetables. To keep us coming back for more, our hostess gifted us with a platter of delicious mixed samosas. Check it out next time you are in the area. You won't be disappointed. Kafaya and her kind young daughter are gracious hosts!
