NORVA member Bob Radl has put together what just may be our most interesting ethnic dinner yet.  A true cross cultural experience is planned for Saturday, August 27 at 6 pm at the Amish family of Roman and Ida Schlabach’s home. 

The Schlabachs are very welcoming.  However since the Amish are conservative, please dress accordingly—shorts are fine.  The family requests a short prayer before the meal and suggests you bring a heart y appetite, as there will be three types of pies served. 

Please note there aren’t street or power lines near their home, which is why we chose an earlier meal time.  The meal is by donation (cash only of course).  Carpooling is encouraged; also, there is limited space so please RSVP to Bob right away rads50@roadrunner.com.
