Event Description

Peace Corps Week celebrates President Kennedy's establishment of the Peace Corps on March 1, 1961, and all the ways Peace Corps service makes a difference abroad and at home, and for the thousands of Volunteers who have served. Attend this event to learn more about why Peace Corps needs you to be part of the next generation to promote global peace and friendship.

Make a difference in the lives of others and your own. Whether you're fresh out of college, mid-career, or ready to retire, Peace Corps service is the opportunity of a lifetime. Join us at this Information Session to learn about Volunteer experiences, have your questions answered, and gain tips to guide you through the application process. Returned Peace Corps Volunteers who served later in life will be featured. There is no upper age limit to serve in the Peace Corps! Visit www.peacecorps.gov/50plus.
