You are invited to join the Cleveland Council on World Affairs, PechaKucha Cleveland, and the City Club of Cleveland for a unique Powered by PechaKucha event on Wednesday, July 23 from 5:30-7:00 pm. This event is free of charge and open to everyone interested in learning about how innovation and entrepreneurship can revitalize Cleveland and communities around the world. There will be a cash bar.
The evening will feature presentations in the PechaKucha style. PechaKucha, Japanese for "chit chat," is a style of presenting in which each person gives a presentation accompanied by 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds. Presenters will include local entrepreneurs, as well as participants of the Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program (IYLEP). IYLEP is a US Department of State program that will be in Cleveland July 10-24, studying entrepreneurship and innovation. Participants are high school leaders from across Iraq. CCWA is excited to host this group, and honored to present this event as a capstone to their time in Cleveland.
Join us to celebrate innovation in Iraq and Cleveland! For more information, contact Madeline Rife of CCWA at 216-255-9007 or mrife@ccwa.org.
