Speaker: Victoria Tifft, RPCV Togo '87, CEO/Founder of Clinical Research Management

Join us for our monthly ethnic dinner and NORVA Speaker Series presenter, Victoria Tifft. For our October gathering, we'll be meeting at Le Petit Triangle, a traditional French cafe in Ohio City. There will be a fixed menu at $20 a person, not including drinks.

Vicki is the CEO and Founder of Clinical Research Management, a contract research organization which has grown from 3 employees in 1994 to over 350 today. Vicki's motivation to start the company stemmed from her malaria work in Togo while serving in the Peace Corps.

Vicki will speak for 15-20 minutes, starting at 6:30PM, prior to dinner. Vicki will speak about her journey from PC service in Togo to materializing a business geared toward continuing her infectious disease work, what she sees as the strength/potential of RPCVs and NORVA in Cleveland (e.g., through community service, policy advocacy, etc.), and opportunities/advice for RPCVs to translate their service into work in Ohio. There will be a Q&A session following the talk.

Please RSVP on the NORVA website if you plan to attend. The venue's capacity is 30 people. Therefore, the first 30 people to RSVP (28 + speaker and guest) will be gauranteed a spot for dinner.

Our Peace Corps/ NORVA group will be in the back room to allow for space! We have a few spots open, so bring a friend! Look forward to seeing everyone, hope you enjoy our menu and speaker presentation by Vicki!
