Join NORVA on the second Sunday of every month. NORVA prepares and serves a meal to the community. There are usually about 40 guests, yet in the current economy, I can only imagine that we will be seeing more. This is a relatively easy way to give back to our own community. A meal a month is an enjoyable time to keep and make friends.

There are needs for cooking, setting tables, serving, making beverages, and cleaning up and recycling. These are all things RPCVs are used to and good at...or can become so. One of the beautiful things about this meal is that many of the NORVA folks are on first name basis with the guests. What a great way to relate, welcome and offer hospitality to people who usually may be a nameless face in a "bread line.” The Church is located at 16400 Detroit Ave. in Lakewood.
