NORVA presents a free screening of the critically acclaimed documentary A Towering Task. Narrated by Annette Benning, the film tells the story of the Peace Corps from its inception during the Cold War through the Covid pandemic and its aftermath. Novelist, travel writer, and RPCV Paul Theroux calls it "the most coherent and satisfying documentary I know of the Peace Corps, and I can't imagine a better one."
