I'll be an education volunteer (English Language Teacher Trainer) for 9 months at a vocational school. "Unfortunately I can't make it tonight, but I'd love to attend future cultural dinners. Another great restaurant in the Cuyahoga Falls/ Northhill area to check out is the Nepali Kitchen.
Where did you serve and when did you serve in Peace Corps?
Serving in Georgia as a PC Response Volunteer (Feb 2019)
What are your interests and how would you like to be involved with NORVA?
I'm interested in connecting with other returned members to learn more about their experiences with the Peace Corps.
I'm also interested in getting a language tutor for Georgian in preparation for my service.
My background also includes a lot of international experience and volunteering with local organizations. I'd be interested in participating in local events.
What keeps you busy these days?
My legal clearance got delayed, and I was supposed to depart for Georgia on 9/9. I have to wait 5 months (Feb 2019) until the next response group departs.
I'm currently scrambling to find part-time work in addition to my usual hobbies:
outdoor activities (running, hiking, canoeing etc.), yoga, visiting local breweries, and attending Toastmasters speaking & leadership meetings.
