Where did you serve and when did you serve in Peace Corps?: Costa Rica 2004-2007

What are your interests and how would you like to be involved with NORVA?: Co-president of NORVA. I am interested in social events that provide a network for RPCVs in Ohio and community events that help RPCVs accomplish the Third Goal and contribute to our local community.

What keeps you busy these days?: I work at Case Western Reserve University as the Student Service Coordinator. I am also a part-time graduate student at the Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations.

NORVA Ethnic Dinner - Empress Taytu Review

Thirteen RPCV and friends of NORVA convened at Empress Taytu on May 19^th for NORVA’s monthly ethnic dinner. Empress Taytu is an Ethiopian restaurant located on Cleveland’s east side. Upon entering the restaurant, my eyes were struck by the consuming décor—photos of Ethiopia, Ethiopian artwork, partial thatch roofs, etc. Taytu is an oasis of Ethiopian culture.

2014-2015 Annual Meeting Report

The NORVA Annual Meeting took place on Wednesday, March 11 at Bottlehouse Brewery in Cleveland Heights.
